C.H.A.T.
The Creative Hands Advisory Team provides us with an opportunity to gain invaluable input from educators.
Fibre-Craft® formed the Creative Hands Advisory Team (C.H.A.T.), which consists of teachers from around the area who get together to discuss how Creative Hands™ products fit into the educational process. Each week, the teachers receive samples of our products and take them back to their classrooms to incorporate in their teaching. At the following meeting, the teachers talk with our staff members and provide them with feedback about the products. This is an invaluable resource for our Marketing and Design teams to learn what works and gain important input from educators.
C.H.A.T. was created primarily to explore the following:
- Ways to increase public awareness about the importance of art-related education for children of all ages.
- To increase public awareness of the relationship between experiential learning through art and a child’s mental, physical and intellectual development.
- To sponsor reports, meetings and workshops between local and long-distance teaching professionals to further the goals of art education.
- To provide research and information to foundations and other entities about the importance of supporting the arts in schools.
- To evaluate and explore how our products can support and further the goals of educational development.
The C.H.A.T. program has proven to be a great resource for both us and the educators involved.
